Audio-Technica AT-SP3X – A pair of active hi-fi speakers, with Bluetooth connectivity, compatible with turntables, computers or smartphones (can connect both wired and wirelessly). They feature 3” woofers and 1.1” tweeters, specially tuned by an integrated DSP to produce powerful, well-balanced sound for music, movies, and more.

The devices can connect directly via the dual RCA inputs of the speakers or wirelessly via Bluetooth. A power button with LED indicator and a volume control knob ensure simple operation.

Very good speakers

The experience with Soundcreation was excellent.

I bought them mainly for a turntable. With a phono to line preamplifier (also from Soundcreation - PPA2 LD SYSTEMS) and a common ground between the preamp and the turntable, I have excellent sound. I also used them via Bluetooth for Christmas music and winter holidays in the countryside. They have enough power for a large room (6m x 4m).

A minor issue encountered when using multiple phones connected to the speakers (in our case, three phones) is that the speakers stay connected to the last one that played. To connect with my phone, I have to search for the other family phones and disconnect the one that remained connected from the last session.

Otherwise, they have excellent sound even via Bluetooth.

Almost perfect

The sound is very pleasant and detailed, the only problem they have is the Bluetooth part. It doesn't support any modern high-quality codec and has quite a large latency that only fits for music.

Very good sound

They have a surprisingly energetic bass for how small they are, and the sound is clear and balanced overall. They benefit a lot from a DAC connected directly to the PC.
