The build quality leaves much to be desired

What I have to criticize is the way they were built. I've had them for three (3) days and they already show signs of wear. Disappointing and premature. It's not like I don't have other headphones to have an idea of how they should behave over time. I have a pair of Bose wireless and some cheap Aukey ones (costing 100 lei), also wireless and Bluetooth. I've had all of them for a few years and the only wear areas are on the cups, on the surface that contacts the ears, the skin on the face, hair. With these Presonus, the signs of wear are on the surface that isn't even in contact with the ear, but on the area behind the cups. It's covered with a very fragile material, imitation leather, something like that. You touch them a few times with your fingers to take them and put them on your head and they're already damaged. I don't know if it's just me with this problem, if it's a defective batch, anyway it's disappointing. They claim to be used for professional purposes, in studios. Apparently, more than some figurines, you have to handle them carefully. I don't think the warranty covers this defect. It might have been like this out of the box, I didn't notice. Maybe someone from the store sees this and helps me with some information.

After what I wrote here, I was contacted by the store. I chose to have the headphones replaced with new ones on August 10. Today is the 12th, when I'm writing these lines again and the problem is repeating. After two (2) days, these are disintegrating too. So they have a manufacturing problem. Respect to the store for trying to resolve the situation, but the product is defective. It's a shame, I like how they sound.

Professional Bluetooth Headphones

They can be used for listening to music, at conferences, or for edit and mix mastering. The sound is just as good as the HD7 from Presonus, which I've been using for almost 10 years in all possible applications (studio and extra studio). The build quality is also commendable, they come in a zippered case for transport. Personally, I consider them better than Beats or Skullcandy, Sony, Pioneer (I haven't tested JBL or AKG, Sennheiser) for music. I've only had them for a short time to talk about durability over time. I'll come back in a few years.
