Apollo x8p Gen 2 is a Thunderbolt audio interface rackmount 16 x 22, featuring eight Unison preamps, Apollo X Gen 2 audio conversion, Auto-Gain, Apollo Monitor Correction, support for 7.1 surround sound with Bass Management, HEXA core DSP processing, and a premium software suite for Mac or Windows.

With UAD Console version 1.2.1 and UAD Software v11.5.1, Apollo Monitor Correction from Sonarworks® is now available and compatible with Apollo X Gen 1 and Gen 2 audio interfaces.

Supported calibration modes:

• Flat Target Mode (default)
• Dolby Atmos Target Curve Mode
• Translation Check Mode: Emulates other speakers for quick mix checks.
• Custom Target Mode: Allows custom room tuning and instant application on Apollo.

Requirements for using this feature:

• At least one Apollo X interface (Gen 1 or Gen 2) configured as a monitoring unit.
• UAD Software v11.5.1 or newer.
• UAD Console v1.2.1 or newer.
• License for the Apollo Monitor Correction Add-on product.
• License for the SoundID Reference product:
• SoundID Reference for Headphones: applies profiles for headphones.
• SoundID Reference for Speakers and Headphones: applies profiles for headphones and speakers (stereo) with calibrated bass management for stereo/subwoofer setups.
• SoundID Reference for Multichannel: applies profiles for headphones and speakers (stereo/multichannel).
• A measurement microphone is required for speaker calibration.

Connectivity and operating systems:

• Internet connection: required for SoundID Reference license authentication.
