Digital pianos for beginners, students, and professionals. Although the authentic sound of an acoustic piano cannot be 100% replaced by a digital one, modern digital pianos sound surprisingly realistic, and several practical advantages make them the ideal choice in many situations: they fit in any room and facilitate study through dedicated functions, while also offering multiple arrangements and sounds.

Piano sounds are generally sampled and processed through special algorithms to approximate the sound of an acoustic piano, and today's keyboards realistically mimic the mechanical response of the keys of an acoustic piano. Depending on their shape and portability, we distinguish several types: the stage digital piano — compact shape, without a dedicated stand (or optionally available), ideal for mobile and stage applications; the Grand digital piano — shape and resonance case similar to that of an acoustic piano; the classic digital piano, in the form of a console piano, with a dedicated stand. Among the most important manufacturers of digital pianos are Yamaha, Roland, Clavia (Nord), and Korg.

As a first reference: among stage digital pianos, the Roland FP-10 and Yamaha P-45 are the best-selling entry models, both with 88 weighted keys; if you prefer the classic console version, with stand and pedal included, the Montford MFDP-11 is the most affordable choice from our range of digital consoles.
