Over time, I've tried many strings from different brands, thicknesses, tensions, and especially alloys, etc. Especially those from D'addario, having a very diverse range of string types, I've tried them. I also had Savarez. But none have projected, enriched the sound, or vibrated the strings like... Absolutely everything is wonderful about this set of strings from Hannabach. I can't wait to get my hands on higher models.. For the price this set offers, I can say they are almost perfect compared to many others (I think Savarez could be comparable, that's it). But I'm not surprised that after about 2 months they have worn out (I mean, the places where the string meets the fret and at the same time, sweat from this crazy summer, etc. has slightly corroded the strings but in some places, not everywhere. So even here, after all mentioned, they held up much better against corrosion.).. But it's not surprising. Because I practiced a lot (2 serious hours daily. Sometimes even 4). But since I'm in love with the fresh and rich sound of a set of strings, I don't even wish for them to last more than 4 months. On the other hand, I bought a set of strings from Aquila Ambra 800, the high register strings are made of Nylgut (in short, synthetic animal gut imitation) and they don't have such a rich sound and don't project like this set of strings did in its first weeks. Anyway, I can't wait to get my hands on higher models.
