I purchased this equipment for a festive hall / conference room.

The 4 mono microphone (or line) inputs are sufficient for events like balls, discussions, presentations, festivities. We use it with one podium microphone and 3 portable microphones. (it has phantom power for channels 1-4)

On the 2 stereo channels, with jack/RCA inputs, you can connect a laptop or phone, CD player, etc.

It also has a USB input/output, to which you can connect a laptop (no driver required), the mixer appears as an external audio interface. This way you can record a stereo mix, or listen to music directly from the laptop.

The built-in effect is okay, we will use it for microphones, for ambient effect.

The faders are very good for such a small mixer.

For applications like conference rooms, small clubs, festive halls, where a maximum of 4 microphones is needed, it is sufficient (and the 2 stereo channels can be used with wireless microphones via line in - thus you have 6 channels with microphones).

I think it’s also okay for smaller bands, e.g. 1 electric piano, 1 set of electronic drums, 2 vocals, 2 instruments - in case a single aux channel is enough.

Allen+Heath produces quality mixers, even though they are better known here as a DJ equipment manufacturer. And this mixer is transparent, sounds good with EQ at 0, without adjustments.

I have used a larger mixer from A+H for over 10 years, and it still works perfectly.

I recommend this product for those who need a smaller, analog, robust mixer for the long term. The price/quality ratio is very good.
