Triton Audio FetHead Filter is a preamplifier for dynamic and ribbon microphones. The FetHead Filter has very low noise, connects directly to the microphone, and features an integrated high-pass filter at 220 Hz that reduces excessive low frequencies and proximity effect. Small, compact, yet powerful, the FetHead uses FET technology to provide up to 27 dB of clean boost.
The FetHead Filter connects directly to any microphone equipped with an XLR connector or anywhere in the signal path between the microphone and preamplifier/mixer. The electronic components are housed in a robust metal chassis, with a balanced XLR female input and a balanced XLR male output. Its sturdy construction makes the FetHead suitable for home use, in the studio, or on tour.
