I'm using it to capture sound from one computer (Windows) to another (Ubuntu) in real-time (the speakers are connected to the Linux computer, and I wanted the sound to come from the Linux one while I play on Windows). The latency is negligible.

Both the captured sound (input) and the output sound are okay. I haven't tried the headphone jack. I wasn't interested.

Why 4 stars? Because when there's no sound, there's a slight hiss (which wasn't there when the speakers were connected to the Windows computer).
