Kompressor connects directly to any XLR-equipped microphone or anywhere in the signal path between the microphone and preamplifier/mixer.
Kompressor adds 25dB of gain, which decreases as more compression is applied. An orange LED indicates when the signal reaches the compression threshold.
Kompressor does not pass phantom power to the microphone, thus protecting older ribbon microphones.
