Rode Broadcaster

Rode Broadcaster - Condenser microphone with a large diaphragm, specially manufactured for broadcast vocal applications. Its rich sound characteristic and full frequency response achieve an accentuated proximity effect, thus setting a standard in radio stations worldwide.

Rode Broadcaster features an integrated pop filter designed to minimize explosive sounds that can overload the microphone capsule and distort the audio output. It is equipped with a selectable high-pass filter at 75Hz, which will prevent the recording of extremely low noise, such as that found in air conditioning units and traffic noise.

The microphone also has an “On-Air” indicator located on the body, which can be connected for external activation via the “Channel On / Mute” function found on many consoles. If not connected to a console or switch, the indicator will remain lit whenever the microphone is powered.
