Although it is an entry-level microphone, it is ideal for audio capture for acoustic and electric instruments, electric guitars, and percussion instruments.

The metal housing provides effective rejection of electrical interference and noise, and has a premium finish. The integrated windscreen eliminates the need for an external pop filter.

On the microphone housing, there is a -20 dB pad switch located on the left, which offers an extended dynamic range, allowing its use in a wide variety of applications and close-miking techniques, from powerful electric guitars, brass instruments, or large drums. On the right, the low-cut switch at 100 Hz helps eliminate unwanted low frequencies and compensates for excessive bass in close-miking techniques (proximity effect).

It comes with a microphone stand mount and thread adapter.
