HDSP 9652 offers 3 x I/O optical ADAT, ADAT-Sync In, I/O SPDIF and I/O word clock. Additionallythere are 2 I/O MIDI and TotalMix, a real-time DSP-based mixer-router with indicators calculated on hardware and full MIDI remote capability.

Due to the unique Zero CPU Load technology, the device guarantees a good performance and low latency together with a high flexibility.

HDSP 9652 supports Expansion Boards (EXB). Two internal ADAT and 2 external ADAT outputs allow you to achieve up to 16 analog inputs, 16 analog outputs or 2 direct TDIF ports into the computer.

The Secure BIOS technology of the HDSP 9652 allows hardware updates  via software/driver without any risk.

Features:

- 3 x ADAT digital I/O, based on RME's proven Bitclock PLL technology;
- 1 x SPDIF digital I/O, based on RME's proven DIGI96 technology;
- 1 x external coaxial cable for SPDIF operations;
- 1 x Word clock I/O (BNC) on the included expansion card included;
- 1 x ADAT Sync In (9-pin D-type) for precision transfers;
- 2 x MIDI I/O, 32 MIDI channels at high speed via external cable;
- HDSP Meter Bridge: scalable level indicators, direct RMS calculation from hardware;
- TotalMix: mixer with 1352 and internal resolution of 40 bits;
- Integrated S/MUX in hardware: 12 channels at 96 kHz/24 bits for recording and playback on optical ADAT.

... and numerous other features that are already found in the Hammerfall DSP series.

The Hammerfall® DSP system is delivered with drivers for Windows 98/ME (MME with multi-client operation, ASIO 2.0, GSIF), Windows 2000/XP (complete multi-client operation of MME, GSIF and ASIO 2.0), Mac OS 9.x (ASIO 2.0) and Mac OS X (Core Audio, Core MIDI).
