VOX MV50 Brian May Ltd. Edition Collector's Set - The MV50 Brian May is a unique guitar amplifier inspired by the result of a collaboration between Vox and the legendary Sir Brian May of Queen, successfully encapsulating his iconic tone in the popular Vox MV50 tube amplifier.
Guitarists everywhere can now enjoy Brian May's iconic tone in a tube amplifier that can be held in the palm of their hand.
Powered by Vox's Nutube technology - a revolutionary new vacuum tube that produces authentic tube tone at a fraction of the size and power - the MV50 Brian May is based on the MV50 circuits and AC30 tone, but with the addition of a KAT (Knight Audio Technologies) high-gain amplifier that can be activated or deactivated, allowing guitarists to achieve Brian May's instantly recognisable tone.
Featuring a refined control panel with gain, tone, and volume controls, the MV50 also has an EQ switch that can be toggled from flat (perfect for larger cabinets) to deep (ideal for achieving a deeper tone even from a smaller cabinet). Despite its small size, the MV50 has an output of 50W at 4 ohms, making it perfect for gigs, rehearsals, and even home practice. With cabinet simulation in the headphone/line out, the MV50 Brian May can be recorded directly without the need for mic'ing a cabinet.
Weighing only 540 g (19 oz), the MV50 BM is one of the lightest tube amplifiers available, making Brian May's iconic tone truly portable.
