The Paramount PS-220E combines cutting-edge craftsmanship with vintage-inspired appointments, offering the best of both worlds. Built with a choice of solid spruce or solid mahogany top, paired with solid mahogany back and sides, the PS-220E features a carefully refined X-bracing pattern to optimise resonance and tone. A pickup designed by Fender and Fishman® amplifies the tight and articulate tone of the newly designed parlor body shape of the PS-220E, while the controls mounted in the sound hole maintain the vintage aesthetic. Beneath the top, a body-detecting pickup enhances the vibrations of the soundboard, which can then be blended with the Sonicore pickup under the saddle.
Updated cosmetics include snowflake-shaped pearloid inlays, feather purfling, rosette, and back binding, along with a Black or Tiger Stripe pickguard. The PS-220E also features an ovangkol bridge and a fingerboard with 14 frets, a slim mahogany neck, nut and saddle, and comes with a hard case.
