Wharfedale Pro Titan AX12 is the next generation of the Titan series, an active speaker with DSP processing featuring 6 presets, improved drivers with IRIS X technology, and a redesigned cabinet. The Titan AX12 is bi-amplified, Class D with 250W for low frequencies and 50W for high frequencies.
The IRIS X driver technology involves the use of larger voice coils for the drivers and increased electrical sensitivity. Larger coils ensure better heat dissipation, while increased electrical sensitivity ensures maximum conversion of electrical signal into audio signal.
The new DSP offers complex internal functions, limiting, compression, delay, dynamic boost, cut filters, crossover, and parametric EQ. The DSP allows selection from 6 user presets. The "Live" preset applies different settings to the 2 inputs and is recommended for solo artists using a microphone and a line source.
