Rode NT2-A continues the creative tradition of the legendary RODE NT2 model and features a professional 25 mm large diaphragm capsule that incorporates three pickup patterns (Cardioid / Figure-8 / Omnidirectional), an attenuator, and a high-pass filter with controls conveniently located on the microphone body.
The frequency and transient response of this transducer have been designed to complement modern recording techniques while maintaining the smooth and silky tonal character found in legendary microphones from the '50s and '60s. These specifications offer the flexibility and exceptional audio characteristics that make the NT2-A one of the most versatile condenser microphones available.
The microphone comes equipped with an SM6 shock mount with pop filter, a dust cover, a 6 m XLR cable, and an online downloadable video hosted by Grammy-nominated engineer and producer John Merchant, who presents a series of recording techniques specific to the NT2-A model.
