Built to function just like a real drum, the Meinl Percussion Kick Drum Cajon is equipped with features that allow you to easily assemble an acoustic drum setup. At its core is a large Baltic birch cajon, free of snares or strings, to provide you with a pure sound. Two attachments are mounted on the cajon: a cymbal arm and a Z-shaped percussion rod. Use them to add instruments such as closed hi-hats and the Meinl Cajon Snare (sold separately). For an authentic drum feel and sound, a durable metal base plate is attached to secure the pedal, and a circular striking surface is designed to provide a stronger low-end level. Also included is the Meinl soft foam cajon mallet (CPB4).
