Zx5 is a 2-way passive speaker with an elegant enclosure that uses the new generation of ElectroVoice components: the new 15" (inch) woofer - 500W - DVX3150 and the new 2" (inch) neodymium compression driver.
Zx5 has a power rating of 600W for long-term use and is capable of producing high Sound Pressure Levels (SPL) with a very smooth frequency response. With a coverage angle of 90° x 50° (Zx5-90B) or 60° x 60° (Zx5-60B), two adjustable monitoring angles (45° or 55°), and 10 suspension and ring points allow for a variety of mounting accessories. Zx5 is suitable for a wide range of applications: sound reinforcement, places of worship, on stages with bands, musicians, and PA rental companies.
I purchased 2 pieces of EV-Z5-90 and 2 pieces of EV-Z4-90. I CAN SAY THAT THEY ARE A VERY GOOD COMBINATION AND AS FOR FIDELITY, CLARITY, THEY ARE SUPERB.
