Yamaha BB434 - The combination of the neck with miter bolts creates a powerful sound that is integrated with the body, while a convertible bridge and a 5-piece neck structure continue the BB tradition. The neck is vertically attached to the back of the body.
In addition to the four bolts that secure the neck vertically, two additional bolts fix the end of the neck at a 45-degree angle to the back of the body, adopting a mirror bolt system. The body and neck are tightly glued together, creating an intense sound. The energy loss from the string vibrations is less than that of a normal joint with bolts, resulting in rich sustain and an overwhelming body sound.
