The DRUMnBASE HP180 pads are made from adhesive rubber to protect the hoop of the bass drum in the area where the pedal or other accessories (tambourine, cowbell...) attach. It protects both the top and bottom of the hoop, as well as the edge. It also provides high grip.
It does its job once the pedal is on it, but the adhesive isn't great. It comes off quite easily from the bass drum hoop. As a "plus", because of this, it doesn't leave marks on the bass drum hoop if you want to change it at some point. Overall, for the price, I can't say it's a bad product, the bass drum hoop is protected. But as I said, the adhesive could be better.
