LD Systems U506 BPG - Whether you play guitar, bass, or a wind instrument, the U500® wireless systems have been developed in Germany to provide you with professional technology and sound quality at affordable prices. The instrument sets offer impressive performance and high reliability that will surely exceed your expectations. The selectable transmission power of up to 30 mW gives the U500® instrument set a range of over 100 meters in open space. They are available in three frequency bands: 584 - 608 MHz and 655 - 679 MHz, where 12 systems can operate simultaneously, and 823 - 832 MHz + 863 - 865 MHz, where six systems can operate at the same time. The Bodypack's gain control allows for attenuation of up to 27 dB to suit both active and passive guitars and basses, as well as high-pressure wind instruments, ensuring a distortion-free audio signal. Even the lowest bass notes are transmitted cleanly, thanks to the frequency response extending down to 30 Hz. Additionally, the output impedance and level are switchable on the receiver to facilitate direct connection to guitar and bass amplifiers.
The U500® True Diversity UHF wireless systems feature an automatic scanning facility to find the best available frequency and convenient one-touch infrared synchronisation between the transmitter and receiver for easy setup. The high-contrast OLED screens provide an excellent overview of the functions, with indicators for group, channel, radio frequency, and signal strength or battery status. You can even enter individual user names. Along with the squelch function, the Bodypack's silent Pilot tone ensures safe operation. It protects against interference and disables the receiver if signals without this tone are present. The efficient U500® technology and high-quality components ensure clear transmission, free from distortion and latency. The low power consumption means that the transmitter can operate for up to 10 hours with 2 AA batteries.
The instrument sets in the U500® series are available in two versions: for wind instruments with a clip-on microphone or for guitars and basses with a low-capacity double-shielded cable to protect against interference.
