The root note is in the centre, with the rest of the scale surrounding it in fields of nine heights that produce a pure, calming, and resonant sound. On the underside of the sensory panel are two sound holes that are oriented outward in opposite directions to provide a fully captivating sound effect for both the player and listeners. With all Sensory Handpans, two detachable sound tubes are included that allow you to modify the tonal qualities of the instrument. The longer tube is placed in the sound hole facing the lower heights of the handpan, while the shorter tube is directed towards the higher tones.
