Meinl Octave Steel Tongue Drum, D Kurd 16 Black - It is made from high-quality stainless steel. It features a central bass note in the middle plus eight additional notes around it. These eight notes consist of two each, providing tones in two octaves. This creates a wonderful, meditative sound, similar to that of a handpan.

On the bottom of the drum, you will find a sound hole, which can be closed with a silicone plug to make the sound even more compact. There are also three silicone feet on the bottom to prevent slipping. You can play the Octave Steel Tongue Drum with mallets or with your fingers.

It includes two wooden mallets with rubber heads and a lovely zippered transport bag with a handle.
