EVE Audio SC205, compact studio monitor with a 5" woofer and AMT ribbon tweeter, recommended for home studios or post-production.
SC205 uses a 5" SilverCone woofer with a honeycomb diaphragm and is powered by a complex system of magnets with a 1" coil. This produces greater dynamics than you might expect from a compact monitor. The AMT tweeter is a proprietary EVE technology that adheres to the principle of quality components to achieve superior results.
The DSP is operated by a dedicated and electrically shielded micro-controller, which uses a Burr Brown A/D converter to digitise the analog input, which then transmits the signal directly to the PWM amplifiers.
The bass ports are located on the back of the monitor and have been tuned to achieve the best possible impact at low frequencies at all volume levels. To protect the tweeter, a magnetic grille is included that can be easily detached when not needed.
