Not just protection, but also better sound

I use it in my home studio set up in a new apartment, but with an electrical network that has a lot of voltage fluctuations. I connected the USB interface to one output, and the laptop I use to record vocals for audio productions to the other. The noise filter has reduced some of the noise in my recordings, but the most pleasant surprise was that I got rid of some frequent and annoying 'mouth clicks' that the sensitive Sennheiser MKH 416 would amplify.
I recommend it for equipment protection, but also for other surprises in terms of accuracy.

I've had the device for about a month and so far I'm satisfied. I feel like it has lowered the background noise a bit, which means it's filtering the network.
