... They hold my pickguard in place, as well as the pickups and all the electronics in the guitar. They look nice and have a Strat style, even though I refurbished an Epiphone V. Other than that, what can I say... The metal is somewhat okay, for their price they are fine. The originals, for example, those on my Squier are made of slightly harder metal and the chrome is finer, but these do their job well. They are good for repairs, handmade constructions, modding... For top guitars, go for original components if possible, for a better look and better corrosion resistance.
