Neumann WS81 - windscreen for the Neumann KMR 81i shotgun microphone, made of open-cell polyurethane foam. It attenuates unwanted noise caused by wind, sudden movements, and nearby sounds by 15 dB. Attenuation at 15 kHz is 2 dB. It does not affect the sound quality or the polar directional characteristic of the microphone. Diameter of 70 mm, length 195 mm. Colour black.
