A silent pedal, solidly built, with a polarity switch. There's no justification for buying more expensive pedals unless they sustain continuously like a real piano. For on/off, this one is sufficient.
I didn't expect to discover such a well-built, silent (no noise when pressed), and functional pedal in the M-audio SP2. If it proves to be reliable over time, it's a perfect pedal for little money.
