I'm not a musician, I play by ear. In my opinion, the flute produces the correct musical notes. It sounds nice.
As a suggestion, it would be nice if the flute were placed in its own plastic bag. Mine was in a courier bag wrapped in (thick) bubble wrap, but the ends were exposed. I would have liked it to be somewhat sealed, being an instrument that you put to your mouth.
For context, I've been playing the flute for 5 years and have played many, both professional and less so.
The flute has a clear sound, with very little buzzing, it's generally easy to play, not sensitive to imperfections in breathing. The high notes are a bit too shrill and loud compared to other similar traditional flutes. The sound overall is a bit muted, lacking character.
It's not tuned very well, it fits decently in the D major scale, but some notes are not where they should be, they're flat. (the holes being the same size shows that they didn't tune it finely at the factory)
The finish is simplistic, with a thin lacquer, it has a rough and unrefined look. Inside there are wood splinters and drips of lacquer.
In conclusion, it's a flute that does its job and would be very good for beginners, it's easy to play, but it has a number of imperfections that pretty much exclude it from professional playing. The price seems too high, as it doesn't give the impression of a finely crafted instrument and there are other flutes that are cheaper and better, like traditional flutes from various craftsmen and fairs in Romania or the Irish metal flutes found in Romania ('generation flageolet').
