Soundcraft Si Performer 1 - a digital mixer specially designed for any situations where the sound engineer controls both sound and stage lights. The mixer features an integrated DMX controller and support for the Soundcraft ViSi Remote App for Apple iPad. It has 16 microphone preamps with balanced XLR input connectors, whose settings can be saved and reused, 8 line inputs, AES digital input/output, 80 mixing channels, 20 subgroups/auxiliary buses, 4 FX buses, 8 matrix buses, 8 mute groups, 8 VCA groups, assignable insert loops, selectable delay on all inputs/outputs, Harman HiQnet integration, headphone monitoring, LCR panning, motorised faders with LED Faderglow for visual feedback, and a colour touch screen interface.

The mixer uses EMMA DSP processors that provide the equivalent of 448 rack units, including a 4-band parametric EQ, and 4 Lexicon stereo effect generators based on MX4000. For customisation, it offers assignable faders, assignable patching, and flexible routing. The 4 mix buses use internal Lexicon FX processors for left/centre/right micing, each with its own compressor, 4-band parametric EQ, graphic EQ, and delay.

The most innovative feature of the mixer is the integrated DMX 512 control interface, which allows automated control simultaneously with sound control.

The number of input/output channels of the mixer can be expanded with 128 x 96 input/output channels via two optional ViSi Connect cards (one 64x64 expansion slot and one 64x32 slot). The cards support a wide range of formats including MultiDigital Card (Firewire/USB/ADAT), BSS Digital Audio Bus (BLU link), Dante, CAT5 or optical MADI, AVIOM, CobraNet, or others, for integration with other mixing or multi-track recording devices.

The ViSi Remote iPad control app allows the use of an iPad to adjust individual channel settings such as EQ, compressor, Gate, Pan, LR/Mono, and phase invert to optimise the front of house mix.
