Super good if they fit you
I don't consider myself an audiophile, but I listen to a lot of music on headphones every day (4-5 hours). I generally prefer electronic music, house, and vocal trance, but I also sometimes listen to rock, hip-hop, jazz, and soundtracks. I can say that I've tested the headphones with a wide range of music. I've used the headphones for 5 months.
First of all, the audio quality is impeccable. If you're coming from a low-end headphone model (I had a Sennheiser HD 201), the sound will seem fuller and you'll notice new details in your favorite songs. This pair of headphones is normally used for sound monitoring in the studio. Both highs, mids, and lows are well separated, and the sound is very clear. In tracks with pronounced bass, you'll notice that the lows create a pleasant "subwoofer effect" (a unique feature).
Overall, they are very comfortable, the cups are larger than any other model so they cover your ears without touching them. The ear pads are made of soft velvet (another unique thing). In a normal environment, the sound emitted by the headphones won't disturb those around you. They are solid, built from metal and durable plastic, and the finishes are very good.
At first, the headphones may seem tight, but if you leave them stretched on the box overnight, they will loosen up and everything will be fine.
The headphones can have one major problem depending on the user. My head shape is oval, and the top band of the headphones creates strong pressure on the crown of my head after an hour of use. This becomes very painful. If you search online, you'll notice that a handful of people have encountered this problem. There are some fabric bands available online that can be attached to the top band, but they don't improve the situation much.
I mention again that most people do not encounter this problem, these headphones being considered one of the most comfortable models (that's why I bought them, but it wasn't meant to be).
