In 2024, I bought the Ortega RQ39 guitar from SoundCreation, which turned out to be nice. Now I've bought the Ortega RQ38 model to compare the two: they are identical except for the top wood. Thus, I compared cedar wood with spruce wood. 'Requinto' guitars are special musical instruments, but the really good ones are very expensive. One observation: the small size of the guitar (scale ~1/2) makes it difficult to find the right strings for standard tuning (EADGBE), and in alternative tuning (ADGCEA), one of the interesting aspects of the Requinto concept is lost.
