185VC Strauss Edition - Blue Danube, perhaps the most famous composition by Strauss II is considered by many to be the unofficial anthem of Austria. The friendship between Strauss and Ludwig Bösendorfer strongly reflects the successes they both encountered in parallel throughout their lives.
The Ultimate Design model, the Strauss edition is inspired by the composer’s own Bösendorfer piano, which is still on display at the Strauss Museum in Vienna today. The fanciful music stand, gentle flowing curves, and the coat of arms of Austria engraved on the keyboard lid remind us of the lively waltzes that brought so much fame to the man, the city, and the country.
