The pickups for the neck, middle, and bridge positions of the Ionizer 8™ model were designed for Tosin Abasi. Tosin pushes the trend with 8-string guitars. He needs a wide range of sounds and wants pickups that can deliver them all. It took us almost two years to develop the pickup that Tosin envisioned. It is warm and open like a vintage humbucker, solid and tight like a modern metal pickup, and functions like a classic single-coil in split mode. Specifications:
