“When I designed this stick, it was extremely important that it complemented my playing style. I use a lot of double strokes, so I needed a stick with enough mass and shape to sit well on the drum on any surface, with excellent rebound – whether on hi-hat or floor tom – but that remains balanced and doesn’t feel too big or heavy. We drew inspiration from the marching sticks I used during my drumline days, then adapted the design and size for the drum set.
