Additionally, these gel pads perform very well when used on cymbals. If you want better definition from your ride cymbal, just stick on a SlapKlatz.

SlapKlatz can also be used to protect the finish of drums in case of contact with metal parts. A SlapKlatz pad is applied in the contact area to isolate the two surfaces.
