What do you need to play blues with a Strat®? The Virtual Vintage® Blues has more power and warmth than a typical single-coil. You can truly hear these qualities when playing the Virtual Vintage® Blues. It withstands weight lifting and opens up when you play with an overdriven amplifier. Instead of shrinking, the sound leaps from the speakers. These qualities are particularly useful for achieving a fat neck position sound, but they are remarkable for the bridge position as well - especially if you have a thin-sounding guitar or use light gauge strings. It is a bridge pickup with a hard sound, warmer guitars, and is a good choice for neck and middle to match a full-sized humbucker bridge. Like the rest of the Virtual Vintage® family, it is quiet; practically inaudible.
