I've had issues with threads and the quality of the pins on other saddles. Not with this set. Interestingly, I used Super Lube on the others and they still wore out. From my own experience, when applying Super Lube, if the mechanical processing is of poor quality, you'll feel mechanical play immediately. Not with this set; in this case, the threads simply cleaned up and the sliding became perfect and precise. Goodbye graphite mixed with oil and goodbye black dirt on my hands. I hope it lasts as long as possible.

perfect for 'squier' models. the body of the saddles seems massive, which adds a bit of 'thickness' & sustain. plus, the screws for adjusting string height don't get in the way of 'palm muting'. so, a plus compared to the vintage saddles they come with initially. however, be careful for those with strat models: the distance between low E and high e is 52.5 mm! so, they might not be compatible. as far as I know, on a strat the distance between the E strings is 54mm. otherwise, an excellent product, at a price that matches.
