What I truly like about my Deep Hats is that they have so many musical applications. They fill the sonic gap between my main hi-hats and crashes. I play them half-open as a timing element, very similar to crash-riding, however, Deep Hats sound softer and more articulated. It's something I prefer. They have the right amount of wash and trash combined with a soft and dark tone. Absolutely perfect for my playing style. The Artist Concept models are a collection of cymbal voices.
