for this price, I haven't heard anything better. the sound is crystal clear, the smallest details are present. the stereo field is well defined. this AKG seems underrated, and it's a real shame.
keep in mind that these headphones are open, meaning they don't isolate what you're listening to from the surrounding environment (for example, if you're on a bus, everyone can hear what you're listening to, and when you're working, you can hear sounds from the room. keep this in mind, as they may not be the best for recording or live situations, but otherwise, they have impeccable sound.
