RME DMC-842 M

DMC-842 M is an AES42 conversion interface with 8 channels and a controller for digital microphones. It allows the connection and control of up to 8 digital microphones and the conversion of their signals to ADAT, AES/EBU, analogue, and MADI.

It features high-end converters with individually switchable sample rates. The inputs are compatible with AES3 and AES/EBU.

MADI I/O provides one MADI input and one output with 64 channels. The coaxial and optical outputs operate in parallel with the AES/EBU and ADAT outputs.

The interface has an optical and coaxial MADI input, automatically switched based on the input signal.
