Cort Yorktown Tobacco Burst - Yorktown is a traditional hollow-body electric guitar, beautifully crafted, offering a great, warm, and full tone that matches its appearance. Featuring old-world construction methods that contribute to its classic sound, the Yorktown has a solid spruce top, maple back and sides, and a Canadian hard maple neck.
Neck Construction Set
The Yorktown represents a great and bold tone. To fully maximise the solid spruce top, the maple back and sides, and the hard maple neck, Cort's craftsmen have carefully set this neck into the body using a classic dovetail joint. This provides sustain and improved tone.
Floating Tune-O-Matic Bridge with Harp Tailpiece
The Yorktown is equipped with a floating tune-o-matic bridge for fine tuning and perfect intonation necessary for playing complex chords across the neck. The tailpiece is a classic harp style, which adds class and elegance while providing functionality and tuning stability.
H-H Voiced Tone VTH-59 Pickups
To maximise the great bold sound of the Yorktown, Cort has equipped it with two Voiced Tone VTH-59 pickups. Each humbucker is wound for slightly better performance than a typical PAF pickup.
