Ernie Ball Regular Slinky Bass is the same, with a bright tone like Ernie Ball Super Slinky, not to the same extent. I usually use these for drop tunings, so far I've used 1 or 1 and a half tones and I haven't had any problems, they don't go out of tune and being made of Nickel, they are a bit gentler on the frets.
