I bought an SH guitar, which wasn't exactly well taken care of. The neck looked horrible, dry, discolored. I applied oil with a microfiber cloth, spread a bit of oil, rubbed a little (a lot of dirt came off), and then wiped it with a clean part of the cloth. The neck looks like new, nice to the touch.
