Meinl Sonic Energy Sensory Handpan is handcrafted from high-quality stainless steel, carefully and precisely forged, resulting in refined, ethereal sounds that fill the space around you with ambient tones. Its stunning vintage gold finish makes a statement even before you play it. At 22" in diameter, this handpan is tuned to the popular D Amara scale (A4/a' 440 Hz) with 9 notes. Anyone can enjoy its relaxing sound and create music without prior skills, as each note complements all the others, meaning there are no wrong notes you can hit. The root note is in the centre, with the rest of the scale surrounding it in fields of eight tones that produce a pure, calming, and resonant sound. On the underside of the sensory panel are two sound holes that are oriented outward in opposite directions to provide a fully captivating sound effect for both the player and listeners. All Sensory Handpans include two detachable sound tubes that allow you to modify the tonal qualities of the instrument. The longer tube is placed in the sound hole facing the lower pitches of the handpan, while the shorter tube is directed towards the higher tones. The captivating effect of this handpan makes it perfect for sound healing retreats, sound baths, meditation, or just calming your mind in the morning or evening before bed.
