Genelec 1238 ACPM - active 3-way studio monitor, tri-amplified with RAM-L amplifier, ideal for mixing and control rooms for film production, music recordings, post-production, broadcast and mastering. The DCW (Directivity Control Waveguide) technology is designed to produce a stereo audio image and neutral frequency response. It is compatible with Genelec Loudspeaker Manager GLM and Genelec control network technologies, and can be used together with monitors from the 8200 SAM series and subwoofers from the 7200 SAM series, in the same network. This monitor reproduces low frequencies through a 15" speaker in a bass reflex enclosure, with a volume of 110 litres. It uses a 5" midrange speaker and a 1" metal dome tweeter. All speakers are magnetically shielded. The RAM-L amplifier is mounted on vibration-damping mounts on the back of the monitor enclosure and can be removed for rack mounting in a 19" system.
