I do not recommend it for use on a 5-string bass, even though it has the integrated bass option. The G, D, A strings are picked up, but from there (the E, B strings) it moves very slowly, captures late or sometimes not at all.
Mic, discreet and does exactly what it was designed for. In an environment with a lot of background noise, you have no problems tuning the guitar. Basically, the tuner picks up the vibrations from the guitar neck. When you're on green, everything is fine. You don't have to hit the string hard, neither on the classical guitar nor on the electric one. It has three tuning functions; Guitar / Bass / Ukuleles. It's a decent tuner in my opinion for this price.
I purchased a tuner and a set of picks for the guitar. The guys at soundcreation are super professional... they called me for confirmation and the next day I had the products. I highly recommend! Thank you!
It's a suitable tuner for beginners. It came packaged with the guitar, we haven't had much chance to use it since the kids preferred to do this with other systems.
It helped me a little, but I can't recommend it. For a beginner, you should figure out how the sounds should be rather than using this tuner. And since only beginners use tuners, it's better to spend more money on getting a better tuner than to buy this one.
