The TLM 103 is a large diaphragm microphone, ideal for all professional and semi-professional applications that require high-quality sound. Using the proven transformerless circuit, which is found in many Neumann microphone models, the TLM 103 features unmatched low internal noise levels and can handle very high signal levels.
The capsule, derived from that used in the U 87 microphone, has a cardioid polar pattern, is acoustically balanced, and provides very good attenuation of rear signals.
