Augustine Classic Red Medium

Augustine Classic Red MT – Set of Classical Guitar Strings, Medium Tension.

Augustine is the brand that launched the first commercially available nylon strings in 1946, through the collaboration between Albert Augustine and Andrés Segovia. Made in New York, USA, Augustine strings have become a standard in the world of classical guitar.

The Classic series (Black, Red, Blue) represents the traditional range of the manufacturer. The treble strings are identical across all three variants, with the difference being in the tension of the bass strings: Black = low, Red = medium, Blue = high. The Classic Red (MT) model offers an ideal balance between comfort and projection, making it one of the most versatile options in the range.
