Painting on Wood - Joker 29 x 12.5

Bajkó Attila is a visual artist from Timișoara, born in Miercurea Ciuc in 1975. A love of nature runs through all of his work; the tree and the horse are recurring symbols. In his characteristic paintings on wood, the world of fairy tales and reality intertwine, speaking very directly to people through his personal stories. Although he does not like to be identified with these works alone, they are without doubt very close to his heart. He works a great deal, makes puppets and stage sets, and is a set designer at the Merlin Theatre for Children and Young People in Timișoara. In recent years the most important thing in his life has been to teach his children to live with a pure heart and to pass on to them his love of life, just as he passes it on to us through his art.
